As an adult or educator we are aware of the rapid increases in information consumption over the years.
A landmark study by UC San Diego team found that businesses consume around 10 Zettabytes of information a year (1 Zettabyte = 1 million million GB).
Our own survival and the survival of our children depend on how effectively and efficiently we navigate and use this abundance of information to achieve our goals. This new set of skills is broadly called information literacy.
Here at the NLB Academy (NLBA) we’ve developed courses that can help you get started in information literacy.
