We’re living in an information-based world. As an educator, you need to build the skills to navigate the abundance of information and use it effectively. You also need to learn how to teach your students the same skills. In this course, you’ll learn about information literacy models and how to integrate it into the curriculum.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define Information Literacy and associated terms
  • Describe at least two Information Literacy models useful for schools
  • Identify the essential competencies to develop in students
  • Integrate Information Literacy into the school curriculum
  • Partner with the library to offer Information Literacy programmes
