Topics
This introductory seminar on children’s literature suitable for primary school teachers and librarians. It aims to explain what constitutes the category "children's literature" and, highlight authors and Children’s books awards. Key genres covered include historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction and contemporary realistic fiction. You will also learn the recommended evaluative criteria for book selection for 0-12 years old.
