Freelance Trainers
If you want to do meaningful work in your spare time and love to teach students, we welcome you to join NLB Academy as a Freelance Trainer.
NLB Academy is looking for Freelance Trainers to join its pool of trainers in the delivery of Media and Information Literacy Courses for schools.
Responsibilities:
| • | Conduct training for primary and secondary students |
| • | Deliver the course based on the curriculum and content developed by the NLB Academy |
| • | Training may be conducted during, after and outside school curriculum hours |
Requirements:
| • | Diploma / Degree holder |
| • | Library and Information Science Diploma qualification an advantage |
| • | Good communications and presentation skills |
| • | Good training and facilitation skills with students |
| • | Experience in using media literacy tools and platforms e.g blog, twitter, wiki, podcast, facebook |
| • | Past teaching or training experience an advantage |
Additional information:
Selected applicants are required to attend a training workshop, and observe at least one training session at applicant’s own cost and time before they can qualify as freelance trainers.
Training session will be confirmed at least 5 days before commencement.
